Jeep Wrangler

Jeep. The company that has brought world-class off-road capability for around 78 years. When you hear the word "Jeep" there's not only the company that comes to mind, but a styling of SUVs that took the car market by storm, in the States, and out, for example India's Mahindra Thar.
The Wrangler took life from the all-famous Willy's Jeep which was used greatly in World War II. The Jeep back in the time was known for its capability of getting you anywhere you wanted, as well as being reliable, more than any all terrain SUV at the time. But, moving on from my habits of preaching history, let's move on to what matters, the 2021, Jeep Wrangler.
The 2021 Jeep Wrangler keeps the styling that they have been using for many years now, but they made one major change. The brand new 4xe, a plug in hybrid, that can take the Jeep (combined with a turbocharged four-cylinder producing 375 HP) a 25 mile range of pure electric drivetrain power, which is capable of taking the Jeep a claimed 0-60 MPH in 6 seconds. But even more exciting, the new Rubicon 392 contains a powerful 470 HP V8 engine. The Jeeps start their pricing at a decent $29,970 on the base model, Jeep Wrangler Sport, that has a 3.6L V-6 engine producing 285 HP. This model can also be paired up with the new hybrid system, if you're willing to invest into it. The SUV is available with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 8-speed automatic. The most costly Jeep model is the new Rubicon 392 mentioned above, starting at an expensive $74,995. The mileage of the Wrangler is claimed to be 17 MPG city and 25 MPG highway plus the 25 miles with the hybrid model. The Jeep is still available in its roof versions of soft top, hard top, and the single touch retracting, which I find fascinating because I haven't seen that many roof options in any other car I know of. The doors, are also one of my most favorite things. When equipped with the hard top, the entire roof of the Jeep comes off, along with all four doors, providing an (most literal) open air experience for you and your four passengers. However, there are a few things that have been observed about the new Jeep. The car is noisy. When travelling at highway speeds, you hear the road, sounds weird but its true, the Jeep doesn't necessarily have the best noise-reducing insulation. Another thing I found that most daily drivers don't like, is the inaccurate steering in which you have to turn more to get the same angle you would in a normal car. But you should keep in mind that this car was made to conquer the off-road world, in which this steering feature is extremely helpful.
And now, for my most favorite part about the Wrangler. Due to the aftermarket support, if you have the money to put in, you can turn your jeep into... ANYTHING.
Excellent blog. informative, inquisitive, and entertaining.
