Mazda MX-5 Miata

The Mazda Miata, the car that really smiles back. Over the 30 years of production for this car, Mazda never lost its sense of pure driver delight. They made a car that just begs for you to push its limit, its small but enjoyable 181 horsepower, 4-cylinder engine combined with a crisp 6-speed manual transmission, you're ready for a day out where the sun counts. Alright that's enough of my cheesiness, lets get some history rolling.
The Mazda Miata was first revealed to the world at the 1989 Chicago Auto Show. Throughout its now 32 years of manufacturing, the Miata has gone through many changes, both in power and looks. The Miata NA, ND, LE, M are just a few versions of the cars progressive betterment over the years. Although the power of this automobile has increased since its release, my favorite Miata is not for the power, but for the looks. The pop-up headlight, Mazda MX-5 NA. It's old yes, but ahh look at that... (cue the dreamy face)

The Miata (for any model you chose) has a mega bonus that comes with the car. The aftermarket upgradability. With these cars, you can turn it into ANYTHING you can imagine. Drift cars, drag cars, time attack cars, off-road cars, boats, wait did he just say boats? You bet I did. Because as a wise person once said,
But, the new one is what matters. The car is a two seater, front-engine, rear-wheel-drive, two door convertible, with a mileage of 26 MPG city, and 34 MPG highway. Although the car does lack power, it can still use its 151 LB-FT to get you from 0-60 MPH in 5.7 seconds and 0-100 MPH in 16.1 seconds. Complimentary to acceleration, the Bridgestone brakes that the Miata is fitted with can bring you down from 70 to 0 MPH in around 170 feet. Nobody really has complaints about this car since its such an amazing machine, but when we compare it to other cars like the Subaru BRZ/Toyota 86, which fall into the same price range have much more cargo space, which definitely is a downfall to the Miata. But grays and blues aside, the Miata is down-right a true driver's car.
Nice car! I like the Mazda Miata! It seems like a really fun car to drive around in! :)
