The Shelby GT350 Mustang is the true definition of 'car and driver'. With that dreamy design, the GT350 comes in with a powerful 5.2 liter - V8 engine. This amazing muscle machine makes around 526 horsepower, revving up to a supercar like sound at 8,250 RPM, and the best part? This car is only available with a manual gearbox, how much better does that get?! The GT350 has an even more powerful, track-oriented brother, the GT350R (as shown above) consisting of more aerodynamic components, light weight (and EXPENSIVE) carbon fiber wheels, and a track-ready suspension. Although the GT350 is the road going, more comfortable version, it also has suspension tuned to handle any corner at the race track and any turn on your favorite canyon road. Now, what's a fast car if it can't slow down? According to Ford's website, "The brakes on Shelby GT350 are the most powerful brakes ever put on a production Mustang... with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers, these brakes experience virtually no fade in torture testing." So, the engineers say it all. These brakes can handle any turn you throw at them allowing you to come to a quick stop at any time, complimenting that 0-60 (MPH) in 4 seconds.

Now with the exciting features put away, let's talk about the... serious stuff... the fuel economy of this Mustang is claimed to run at a 14 MPG city and 21 MPG highway, which in a way isn't too bad for a packed muscle car like this. The interior of the vehicle has a very sporty feel, with a mix of modern technology and retro muscle car style. The seats are a standard set of Recaro sport seats, which are quite comfortable for how much support they provide, sadly lacking adjustability. The steering wheel is a beautiful alcantara, flat-bottomed wheel, with a thin cross section keeping the wheel at a 'slim-rim'. Before concluding this review let's talk about a couple things that most people don't like about the GT350. Unfortunately, this variant of the Mustang isn't as fast as we would wish, only a slight notch above the normal GT. But, Ford (knowing this) still prices the GT350 $23,260 higher than the $35,880 Mustang GT, at $59,140. That's almost a normal Mustang more!

But pros and cons aside, this car is just drop down gorgeous, both in looks and power. Even if it's a slight bit slower than its competitors, its the perfect definition, of modern muscle.
